C V Management is a group of successful, business savvy Optometrists and Ophthalmologists. They have come together to assist each other and to negotiate with vision care companies, insurance companies, government and HMOs. This is not a buying group, but a true co-operative. We enjoy the following benefits…

 Collective bargaining abilities, using our immense buying power , allows us to carefully choose which frame, lens and contact lens companies we deal with. By limiting our partners to a few of each type (lab, contact lenses and frames) we are able to negotiate excellent pricing. We have significantly reduced lab bills and increased already existing discounts on some lines of frames and contact lenses.  

Exchanging ideas among the doctors in the group. We have highly successful offices and each member has found a different method to get where we are. With our vast experience and by combining our thoughts, we are able to come up with ideas, plans, and designs to assist any other member with advertising, marketing, recalls etc. Sharing our success and helping other members is one of the most valuable assets we have. We recognize that each member has different strengths, knowledge and abilities. We have been able to put all this together into a group of doctors that learn from each other. Our camaraderie is unmatched in the vision care arena.

 Free and open discourse without fear of competition, successes and failures, negotiating tactics, discussions on how to pass an audit etc. have allowed C V Management to succeed where many have failed. As government becomes more entangled in healthcare, our exchange of information will gain importance. Dealing with insurance companies and HMOs will be easier as a recognized group of successful Optometrists. It is a group of business minded team players who truly believe that “united we conquer, divided we fall”.

 Effective advertising is very difficult to accomplish. We have the some of largest advertising ODs in Southern California in our group. Their shared secrets to success and their ability to get the lowest possible prices for group and individual advertising is a tremendous advantage to our doctors.

 Networking as a group of successful doctors with large offices throughout California and beyond allows us to approach insurance companies, HMO’s government, and businesses on an entirely different level. We base our office locations on population density and geographic location, which allows our negotiating committee to function with increased strength.

 A major strength of this group is in its numbers. C V Management is a group of numerous optometrists and  Ophthalmologists representing many different office designs. The more members who fit into our format, the stronger we will be and the easier it becomes to deal with large corporations. We have recognized the need for economic and political clout and this group provides the numbers to achieve our goals.

 C V Management is also able to provide private labeling, logos, paid advertising, inexpensive equipment purchases, free continuing education and more from most of the largest vision care companies.

 The members are all owners of high gross offices which allows each doctor to be considered as an equal. Members are independent, non competitive and work together as in a co-operative.

 We need more members who fit well into this group. The ability to get along, to be a team player, to be willing to assist other members, to share knowledge and ideas without fear of competition separates us from all other groups. C V Management is truly the most unusual and successful group of its kind in the USA.
